House of mayoralty candidate sprayed with bullets, 1 killed
A person was killed when house of a mayoralty candidate in Talisay, Batangas was showered with bullets by two unidentified motorcycle riding suspects.
The fatality was identified as Leonardo Casabal Dahil, 19 years old, helper.
Reports showed that the incident happened at about 4:30 AM last Tuesday in Barangay Quiling, Talisay, Batangas.
Investigation revealed that the victim was in the terrace of the house of Dr. Zenaida Sarmiento Mendoza, sleeping when hit by the suspects on the pelvic area which exited on his left chest.
The victim was rushed to St. Andrew Hospital in Talisay, Batangas but declared dead on arrival.
