Police official stab

A police official was landed to the hospital after he was stabbed occurred in Novaliches, Quezon City.

The victim was identified as SPO2 Leopoldo Macaraeg, assigned at PS-4, Quezon City Police District while the suspect identified as Henry Tera.

Reports showed that the shooting incident happened at about 4:30 PM last Sunday in Don Julio Gregorio St., Barangay Bagbag, Novaliches , Quezon City.

Initial investigation revealed that the suspect and the witness identified as Robert Torrifil were drinking liquor few meters away from the victim who was playing chess.

Afterwards the suspect and the witness started arguing about the presidential candidate when the victim attempts to calm them down; the suspect stabbed the victim using a kitchen knife.

The suspect run away heading unknown route and the victim was brought to the PNP General Hospital by his wife.

Authorities are now conducting follow-up investigation to the incident. (Rose Anne Valledo)
