1. Police officer and his wife riding Motorcycle, crashed

The motorcycle where a police officer and his wife were riding crashed.
The victims were identified as SPO3 Eduardo Vargas Velasquez, assigned at Naga CPO and his wife Evangeline Moros Velazquez.

Reports reaching Camp Crame the motorcycle accident happened at about 2:00 pm in the afternoon last Wednesday April 14, 2010 along Km 11, Carolina, Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Initial Investigation revealed that they were riding a motorcycle with plate number EM-8335, and when they are reaching Carolina in Naga City, the front tire of their motorcycle blown-out causing SPO3 Velasquez to lose control and crashed.

2. Another CV was arrested


SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao - Another Civilian Volunteer (CV) wanted for Maguindanao Massacre arrested by the authorities after arresting Naot M. Duma last Tuesday.

Combined units of Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMMCIDU), 12RCIDU, Maguindanao Police Provincial Office and the Mamasapano Municipal Police Station identified the suspect Thong E. Guiamano, alias Ibrahim Kamal Tatak.

Guiamano was arrested based on the warrant of arrest for multiple murders, signed by Honorable Judge Jocelyn Solis Reyes of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 221.

He was arrested yesterday April 15, 2010 in Barangay Manungkaling, Mamasapano, Maguindanao and was being held at the Maguindanao police’s provincial headquarters in Shariff Aguak.

Ibrahim Kamal Tatak who presented and the photographs from the records and police clearance issued by the Mamasapano Police last June 2, 2008 of Guiamano was the same when Philippine National Police (PNP) compared.

Record showed that Guiamano was among those who are wanted in the November 23 Maguindanao Massacre, killing 57 persons.

Total of 196 persons were implicated in the Maguindanao Massacre, as of now the six Ampatuans and allies, four volunteers and 50 PNP personnel were under the custody of PNP.

Judge Solis-Reyes issued Commitment Orders for detention and protection of Datu Andal Ampatuan Sr. and others who were previously arrested at the Bureau of Jal Management and Penology, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. (Rose Anne Valledo)
