1. Special Investigation Task Group

Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) planned and started the taking of affidavits of witnesses for filing of appropriate cases in court against the suspects who possess firearms that are not in the legality.

An urgent report operation, Iloilo PPSMC and San Dionesio MPS arrested Rometer Boga, resident of Brgy Bagacay, San Dionesio, Iloilo. The suspect was carrying one M16 rifle and one cal. 45 pistol which he admitted that it was from the disarmed two PNCOs from San Dionesio MPS. The confiscated firearms were turned-over to San Dionesio MPS and Boga was placed under the custody of Iloilo PPO HQs.

Last April 11, 2010 Brgy. Chairman Eugenio Eusebio Lopez, a candidate for mayor in San Dionesio, Iloilo and San Dionesio Vice Mayor Peter Paul Lopez together with MOL fifteen civilian carrying M16 rifles and shot firearms stopped passersby by force along the road of Barangay Bagacay, San Dionesio.

A team led by SPO3 Rene Del Castillo immediately proceeds to the said area and ask for the legality of their firearms but Brgy. Chairman Lopez and Vice-mayor Lopez grabbed and take the M16 rifle of PO1 Dela Cruz and the cal. 45 pistol of PO1 Alayon by force. About 200 passersby were being disarmed and to withdraw and keep away any unpleasant incident which may put in danger the lives of the innocent civilians.(Rose Anne Valledo)


2. Shot dead and surrendered


Last April 9, 2010, Benlex Tacaisan was shot dead late in the evening. The suspect was reside in Brgy Lapak San Remegio, Antique and named Rule Santiago.

The suspect surrendered and turned-over to San Remegio MPS together with the weapon used in shooting the victim. The filing of the charges was in court.

The body of the victim was brought to the Butiong Funeral Homes in Sibalom, Antique for autopsy. (Rose Anne Valledo)



3. Another suspect in the Maguindanao Massacre was arrested

Member of the Maguindanao Civilian Volunteers Organization (CVO), Naot M. Duma was arrested this morning at around 1:40 am in his residing area at Brgy Meta. Datu Unsay, Maguindanao.

Elements of the PNP IG, PNP SAF, PRO ARMM and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Duma by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes of Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 221.

Duma was among those who are wanted in the November 23 killing 57 persons in Apmatuan Maguindanao, including members of the Mangudadatu clan and 31 journalists.
Duma was detained in the Cotabato jail and was under the custody of the regional unit in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for examination.

The Quezon City Regional Trial court ordered to arrest the 196 suspect in the Maguindanao Massacre. 59 are already under arrest and detention while 137 others remain at large 23 of which are allies of Ampatuan.

More than 100 members of CVOs and the Ampatuan clan including Datu Unsay Andal Ampatuan Jr. were involved in the Maguindanao Massacre. (Rose Anne P. Valledo)



This articles that I wrote came from journal (parang blotter reports). We have lots of time to wrote an article because Ate Zaida, one of our mentor did not gave us any deadline. I don't know if this were right.
